Tune in above to the listen again option for The Sunday Sync, Buggerbear’s moving image and music hinged happening on Soho Radio 5pm alternate Sundays…last Sunday we got an illuminating inside view on the world of synchronization in TV and films from music supervisor and biz ledge Don Gallacher. And loveable funtime nouveau rocknroll roustabouts The Eversons were in full attendance to explain how it feels to be ‘Stuck In New Zealand’, which handily enough is the title of their debut LP out this month, and launched at The Dublin Castle next week…

The Eversons Album Launch Party
The Eversons are kooky and kool, but hey!, nobody’s fools. These Kiwis residing in London specialize in frothy, catchy art pop, imagine Art Brut channeling The Kinks, perhaps…great tunes, played with verve and lyrically incisive too. Fabulous stuff, launching their album tonight, vinyl copies will be available on the night for £21, which includes gig entry. And in advance via this here linky thingummy. Also starring… Man Made- Manc rock pop happening who bridge New Order-ish melodic, droll pop with something more upbeat and indie rocking, rocking nice shimmering guitars and harmony based 1960’s touches over some bright and buoyant uplifting guitar lines, and no wonder this boy has amazing genes Gene…. And also Yowl- Displaying dynamic, emotively charged indie-noire bringing to mind Parquet Courts at their most poetic and enraged. An ace nite then. Fabulous fun and frolics for all Kiwis and other hairy fruits and cute birds. And if you listened to the radio show, here are those leotard lovelies, as discussed, free-styling to Don Gallacher’s very own ‘Mankind Dr Who’ creation, and clearly freezing their weary Welsh Cakes off into the bargain. Cardiff Airport way back in the late 1970s….even if you didn’t listen to the show this is gonna be immensely entertaining….
