This festive episode of the much admired film and TV bangers based radio show concentrates on killer diller tunes off adverts, what with this being the season for The Man to Shake You Down….click and enjoy…there be some Pogues action within for sure…And whadda ya know…

The Pogue Traders conclude their ‘In The Bleak Mid Winter’ tour with a must catch Christmas hoolie in The Dublin Castle. A marriage made in heaven, The Dublin and The Pogue Traders is truly the finest festive hoedown you could hope for. If you love the music of The Pogues have no fear, it’s in extremely good hands with these boys and girl. They play a wide selection of classics from all eras of Shane McGowan and company’s illustrious back catalogue, and do it so incredibly well you don’t know whether to dance, laugh or cry. Or drink… heavily… if responsibly. About as good a night out as you could hope for. Tonight you are also party to a special appearance from Paul “Maddog” McGuiness from The Popes (Shane McGowans post Pogues band) plus Polarized Eyes, who BBC 6Music legend Tom Robinson described as “Lofi high energy punk rock”. Mere teens who play superb spritely guitar pop. Adam Masterson opens proceedings from 7.30pm, the New York based singer songwriter excels in gnarly tune laden pop rock with a bohemian bounce, and yerman has played with a plethora of the Great and the Good. DJs til 2am, so party hearty.

Grin you motherfuckerz. This motley crew (Tony Bugbear, Julie Hamill, Andy Coules, Jim Bugbear) wish you all the very best for the New Year. Julie and Tony present ‘Glam Versus Punk’ Part 2 on Boogaloo Radio, just tap yer way beyond and behind the grinny gets on show here for some hysteria and hot tunes, plus a wonderful meeting of minds with Frog and Myura from the fabulous punk grunge pulverizers PollyPikPocketz.
