St Patrick’s Night with an irie skank, this has gotta be the greatest party in town for discerning punters of All Nations. Starring Nick Welsh AKA King Hammond & The Rudeboy Mafia, it’s always a great night out with the former Bad Manners, Selecter and Skaville UK songsmith, troubadour and force of nature. An amazing body of work he has too. Starring a special guest appearance from reggae legend Dave ‘Double Barrel’ Barker, the vocal prowess behind that most magnificent rude boy reggae classic with organ whizz Ansell Collins, Mr Barker hits the DC stage with King Hammond, what a joy. Double Barrel niced up many a dance, and still does, and always sounded great blasting out of the sound system at the Fairground as you rode the Waltzers in yer Ben Sherman and monkey boots. It was a No.1 hit record such was the mass appeal, and Monkey Spanner followed it into the Top 10 too. Hear Dave Barker and the Rudeboy Mafia mash it up on these incredible dancehall classics and many many more tonight.. Add the amazing presence and vocal prowess of Jennie Bellestar to the mix and the Rudeboy Mafia are really gonna swing. And from a long established gorgeous Brit ska talent to a rapidly ascending new one- Millie Manders plays hard edged reggaematic pop and punky ska with remarkable amounts of energy in front of another top band in impressive form of The Shut Up. Ska, reggae and soul sides til 2am and a lickle irie Irish party music too.
