Heart Beats Up Love...

Don’t forget to attend our All Hallows Eve Eve Happening, nominally the Dublin Castle Horror Punk All dayer, this Sunday 30th October kicking off with Camden Town local heroes, narco punk eviscerators, the ever fabulous Starsha Lee at 3.30pm and concluding climatically with the ultimate punk vamp schlock rock tour de force that is Pussycat and the Dirty Johnsons way later. Shed them mummified wrappings and see Rocktober out with ten, yes TEN, of the best bands around today….all info is here plus cheap tickets, still available ya know…but never fear, whack on the obligatory Halloween splatter schmatter and we’ll let you in for the cheapo ticket price of a fiver anyhow. That’s 50p a band, horrific value… and the DJ skills of Fuzz to see you into the actual bitching witching business. Suck it up.

Some gruesomely good Halloween movie music uppy there, our latest wireless wanderings on Reel Rebels Radio…and props to the 3rd London Doc N Roll Film Fest too. A multitude of goodly tunes. Such as that new old Smiths song, Johnny Marr re-rubbed from 1981. Chris Evans had the exclusive but seeing as he can’t cope with a bit of top gear we need to spread the love. Funky Si and Angie Brown’s augmented Freak Party tune ‘Firefly’ sounds mighty. But with this weekend in mind most notable about this show is guest Dave Bigsie Bignell, sharing some tunes from the punk and oi British Heart Foundation fundraising auction, to be held in The Dublin Castle, Camden 1pm Saturday 29th October.

We are raising money, specifically to help fund a campaign to raise awareness of the recognition of the symptoms and warning signs forewarning a heart attack. After losing her husband John under tragic circumstances, auction host Erin Westlake felt compelled to act. We will be auctioning some of John’s record collection to raise money. There will be celebrity auctioneers, including Lee Wilson from Infa Riot and Micky Geggus from Cockney Rejects and live music from The Bram Stokers and Brunk Tickets £5. Be there!

Hear more from Funky Si, from Doc N Roll and from Tommy Mack, the White Apeman in this broadcast from Soho Radio just the other night…
