More Funnery In Another Nunnery....

hagar-26-nov-poster

Check out the quality of this six band extravaganza, The Best Saturday Night Out In Camden Town, this weekend, and click on it to unveil Bugbear’s latest show outta Soho Radio, officially The Best Internet Station in Europe according to Mix Cloud…. Our fortnightly show, loosely hinged on film and TV synchronization, hence The Sunday Sync, but with all kinds of marvelous music, much of it selected by our tremendous guests. Such as the brilliant Stella Grundy discussing all manner of things here from her ‘Rise And Fall Of A Northern Star’ opus to Britt Ekland’s issues with her rear end whilst shooting The Wicker Man …or Oskar and Steph outta Hagar The Womb and Anthrax UK likewise selecting their screenage kicks and bigging up Grown Your Own Records’ Mini Fest this weekend…more funnery in another nunnery ahoy…

The Dublin Castle

Hagar The Womb + Anthrax UK + Anarchistwood + Flowers In The Dustbin + Hysteria Ward + The Fleas

Cheapo Tickets Right Here!

Hagar The Womb- Yelping buzzsaw pop punkers with the DIY Anarcho ethics to the fore and lotsa alluring angst outta the multi woman singing frontline…give the Ramones a run for the ramalama money…’Razor-fuzzy, female-fronted punk band: Part of the U.K. Anarcho-Punk scene from 1981-1987. Reformed in 2011.’ And still featuring superstar DJ Chris Liberator at the drums ya know…

Anthrax UK- Original anarcho punkers not to be confused with some hairy American blokes…fast and furious is about right, Crass meets GBH, a pretty dynamic punk rock place to be.

Anarchistwood- Taking conceptual punk pranksterism cabaret to new highs, new lows, with a big Detroit Stooges/MC5 proto punk element, they also happen to kick much punk rock ass..superb proper proper entertainment.

Flowers In The Dustbin- Reformed anarcho punk collective, now a record label as well as a band and multi media happening cum to that… proto goth/folk with a sweet psych punk undertow.

Hysteria Ward- 80s punk band reformed..melodic pop punk with some choice covers (Carly Simon’s You’re So Vain frinstance) all done with a low slung Heartbreakers meets Blondie feel only punked all the way.

The Fleas- Brightonian punk rock three piece furthering the girl/boy spirit of the movement, played fast and loose with tood mungous vocals.

DJs We Got Killers spinning punk, ska and attitude to the fore bangers of all persuasions til the wee wee hours….
